Adam has expert knowledge of renewable energy gained through over 35 years’ experience working with governments and industry internationally. He was Manager of the UK New and Renewable Energy Programme and later worked for UK Trade and Investment on inward investment in renewable energy. He was also Technical Coordinator for the IEA Bioenergy Agreement.
As a Senior Energy Analyst at the IEA in Paris, he authored reports on renewable energy policy and on renewable heat. He was an author of the IEA’s Roadmaps on Biofuels for Transport (2011) and on Bioenergy for Heat and Power (2012). He is currently leading an update of these roadmaps with the main findings available in June and the full report published in September.
