Dan Burgar Kuželički

Dan Burgar Kuželički currently works as Policy Officer in European Commission in Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development in the unit Environment, climate change, forestry and bio-economy. He graduated as a university graduated engineer of forestry in 2011 at the Biotechnical Faculty in Slovenia. During his studies he was active in various NGOs, in both Slovenia and internationally, most notably the International Forest Students Association.

Dan started working in Brussels in 2013 as an intern in the European Commission, and continued afterwards in an NGO, dealing with nature related issues, such as wildlife management and legislation related to environment and species protection. Joining the European Commission again in 2015 his work is now mainly related to EU Forest Strategy, climate change with focus land use, land use change and forestry, and bioenergy sustainability.
