Green digital charter workshop
The Green Digital Charter (GDC) aims to improve the quality of life in cities through the use of digital solutions. This workshop is organised within the framework of the GDC accompanying project, GuiDanCe, which guides and supports cities materialising their GDC-related agreements and commitments and creating a tangible impact for their green digital strategies and activities.
This workshop is going to put the focus on Intelligent Communication Technologies (ICT) for energy efficiency and on the reduction of ICT’s direct carbon footprint. Local government representatives (technical officers as well as politicians) will share smart city solutions and best practices. Experts will provide the participants with insightful perspectives on green ICT solutions delivering on the Energy Union ambitions.
The purpose of this meeting is also to raise awareness and engage further with citizens and SMEs from the ICT sector.
