Towards a Zero Carbon Economy Beyond 2030
Climate-KIC and Paragon Europe are organising a conference on green urban centres, circular economy and green finance. The focus will be on low-carbon mobility concepts, the operation of smart grids, energy neutral buildings, the promotion of efficient water management and improvement of public and green spaces that assist in creating the world’s first zero carbon economy solution in the Mediterranean by 2030.
The event will be held on 29 May in Malta on the eve of Green Week 2017 and under the auspices of the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and hosted by the Ministry for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change of Malta.
The event is targeted to those interested and working in climate change and related areas such as water management and circular economy, together with anyone working on finding concrete and feasible solutions for a more sustainable Europe.
