Energy Technology Perspectives 2017

The International Energy Agency will present its annual flagship publication The Energy Technology Perspectives (ETP) 2017. This year’s edition of the ETP released in June 2017 focuses on the increasing impacts of technological changes on the energy sector, analysing the potential for an accelerated and scaled-up deployment of clean energy technologies and prospects of this path for investment decisions that will shape energy security and environmental sustainability for years to come.
The publication also includes the annual Tracking Clean Energy Progress (TCEP) report that highlights the development and deployment of key clean energy technologies year to year. This year’s Special Feature focuses on research, development and demonstration (RD&D), the first stage in the innovation journey.
