Dr Konstantinos Chalvatzis is the Chair of the BRIDGE Working Group on Customer Engagement. Konstantinos is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Business and Climate Change at Norwich Business School and the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. He also holds visiting appointments at the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park; the Department of Economics, Management and Statistics at the University of Bologna and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences. Konstantinos is an interdisciplinary academic with background in management, environmental sciences and energy engineering. His research and teaching focus on the role of consumers and energy innovation in resolving the energy trilemma of affordable, low carbon and secure energy. Konstantinos’ work has been published in top tier journals and he is UEA’s Principal Investigator in consortium research funded in excess of €23m by the EU, OECD and industrial partners and investors.
