Voting open for EUSEW Citizens’ Award
This is your chance to help choose one of the winners for the 2017 EU Sustainable Energy Awards. Find out about the finalists’ outstanding innovations in renewables or energy efficiency on their dedicated page on the EUSEW website and vote for your favourite. You could put it in the running for this year’s Citizens’ Award!
Four other Award winners will be chosen by an expert jury – one for each of this year’s specialist categories. The successful projects will be revealed at an Awards Ceremony in Brussels on 20 June, day one of this year’s EU Sustainable Energy Policy Conference (EUSEW 2017).
2017 finalist projects
Consumers category – Home Energy Saving Kit (Ireland); Topten – Best Products of Europe (France); Participation for Sustainable Towns (Italy)
Public Sector category – Bucharest Sector 1 – Thermal Rehabilitation Programme (Romania); Beenergi Programme (Spain); CELSIUS – Smart District Energy (Sweden)
Businesses category – Active Network Management Pilot Project (Belgium); Bright Programme (Portugal); SINBIO – Sustainable Innovation in Bioenergy (Slovakia)
Energy Islands category – Bornholm – The Bright Green Island (Denmark); Tilos Island (Greece); Simskäla Island (Finland).
All are leading the move to clean, secure, efficient energy in their own field. So, which one do you find the most inspiring?
Registrations are open for EUSEW 2017. Join thousands of energy stakeholders, policymakers and media representatives in Brussels from 20 to 22 June to discover more innovations and the latest policy developments for Europe’s energy transition.
If you have a sustainable energy project that is not in this year’s EU Sustainable Energy Week, you can still take part. Hold an Energy Day at any time in May or June to share your achievements and inspire others.
