This event is inserted into the schedule of the Master degree in Sustainable City and Architecture from ETSAS (Universidad de Sevilla, Spain). The activity is part of a workshop developed in two primary schools in San Jerónimo district (Seville) focused in the awareness of a proper use of energy.
During the workshop, during the months of February, March and April, we had worked with students involving them in different activities, seeking to promote resources saving (energy, water and recycling) to counteract the effects of climate change.
Our energy day will be celebrated in San Jerónimo Community Center and consist in a presentation involving children and parents, for the purpose of transmitting the process developed in the workshop, detailing the methodology, the analysis of the results obtained and the conclusions to all the citizens of the neighbourhood. After the presentation, an open debate will be held, with the purpose of involving the attendees and their participation.
