Energy Performance Contracts (ECO.AP)
For the EUSEW 2019, Portugal’s National Energy Agency (ADENE) and the Network of Energy and Environment Agencies (RNAE) are coordinating a set of Energy Days promoted by Portuguese municipalities, municipal associations and energy agencies aiming to raise awareness on energy efficiency and renewable energy in Portugal.
In Portugal, more precisely in the Alto Alentejo region, STEPPING has enabled 11 municipalities to monitor energy consumption, allowing them to analyse and monitor each of its installations in real time. Energy diagnosis were developed for each of the municipal facilities, which served as basis for preparation of the Investment Plans. This contemplates 63 measures to improve energy efficiency, with a total investment of around 700,000 €. One of the main tasks of STEPPING is to promote training sessions about EPC schemes in order to present the investment plans already developed.
