EnergyNeighbourhoods 5th anniversary: celebration of household energy saving
The EnergyNeighbourhoods programme and methodology aims to reveal that enormous results can be achieved both in terms of saving energy and money through changing our behaviour. The residential energy saving programme called „Energy Neighbourhoods” was first implemented between 2007-2009 organised by an international consortium. In the autumn of 2013, GreenDependent and E.ON Hungaria, a multinational utility company, partnered to continue EnergyNeighbourhoods in Hungary as "E.ON EnergyNeighbourhoods".
This event will be the closing award ceremony of the fifth E.ON EnergyNeihbourhoods' season. There will be three presentations about energy self-sufficiency and community energy; seasonal bio lunch; program for children; and, of course, awards for the most creative households with the biggest energy savings. We will celebrate the most persistent voluntary coordinators too, who helped form the communities and supported themduring the competition at least three times.
