MACLAB-PV project virtual tour, come in and discover the SiCellLab – ITER’s photovoltaic cell laboratory
Access this virtual tour and discover the photovoltaic cell laboratory of the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies (ITER), SiCellLab, a state-of-the-art scientific and technological facility established with the aim of contributing to the development and consolidation of new techniques for producing photovoltaic cells based on crystalline silicon and new materials.
This tour has been developed by ITER in collaboration with the Tenerife Energy Agency (AIET) as part of the training actions and transfer of scientific-technical results within the framework of the project MACLAB-PV. The objective is to bring this kind of scientific infrastructures to the general public so they can learn about the different equipment used and their main applications.
MACLAB-PV project- Improvement of R + D + i capacities and infrastructures in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector of the Canary Islands and Senegal - co-financed by the European Program INTERREG MAC 2014-2020, is aimed at optimizing infrastructures and existing scientific, technological, demonstrative and innovative capacities in the participating regions, striving for excellence in research and innovation in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector.
