The GeoMode Initiative
The use of renewable energy sources is growing rapidly as an alternative to conventional sources and it has been argued that community-based renewable energy projects based on public participation are more likely to be accepted by the public than top-down large schemes and may bring additional benefits, such as increased cooperation on sustainable energy issues.
During the Energy Days studies are carried out on environmental awareness and renewable energy and non-renewable energy sources, involving the public and experts in various fields.
The GeoMode Initiative has been created mainly for the 3th & 4th Slope Tectonics Conference, GEOFAREDAGEN-2016, EU SpaceWeek Estonia and European Space Talks.
