SUNRISE Stakeholder Workshop
Since 1 March 2019, the SUNRISE (“Solar energy for a circular economy”) project is preparing a large-scale research initiative in the field of artificial photosynthesis as a sustainable alternative to the fossil-based, energy-intensive production of fuels and base chemicals. The energy required will be provided by sunlight and the raw materials will be molecules abundantly available in the atmosphere, such as water, carbon dioxide, oxygen and nitrogen.
We cordially invite you to join us for a SUNRISE Stakeholder Workshop. We will give you an insight into SUNRISE, present the current state of our work and open manifold opportunities for you to contribute to the definition of the future large-scale initiative. Topics covered will include
- “Priority Research Directions” of scientific topics which will feed into a comprehensive S&T roadmap
- Discussions on the governance of the future initiative
Participation is free of charge, however we kindly ask you to register before 3 June 2019.
