Sustainability and innovation in the territories
For the EUSEW 2019, Portugal’s National Energy Agency (ADENE) and the Network of Energy and Environment Agencies (RNAE) are coordinating a set of Energy Days promoted by Portuguese municipalities, municipal associations and energy agencies aiming to raise awareness on energy efficiency and renewable energy in Portugal.
The RED URBANSOL project is financed by the INTERREG V-A Spain-Portugal 2014-2020 Program (POCTEP) and its main objectives are: 1) promotion of sustainable local development; 2) support the transition to a low carbon economy; 3) energy self-sufficiency. This project is a practical tool made available to municipalities of the EURO-ACE space for the development of action plans for sustainable development. The training action “Sustainability and innovation in the territories” has the main objective of presenting solutions and projects in the fields of energy efficiency in municipal buildings and sustainable mobility and also promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences.
