WEBINAR: Green hydrogen - Chances for the economic Region of Lusatia in Germany

Green hydrogen will play a key role in the transition towards renewable energy sources and enable the significant reduction of CO2 emissions especially in the industrial sector as well as in aviation and shipping. In order to promote green hydrogen technologies there is a great need for suitable policy frameworks, increasing production capacities and a sustainable hydrogen market. In our second ‚Cottbus Talks‘ experts from industry, scientific research and administration will discuss what that means for the economic region of Lusatia in Germany. This event will be an interactive webinar and participants will have the opportunity to actively engage in the discussion.

The ‚Cottbus Talks‘ are a series of events hosted by the Competence Centre on climate change mitigation in energy-intensive industries (German acronym: KEI) in cooperation with Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. They offer a platform for interested citizens on which they can seek answers and discuss ideas regarding climate change mitigation and its impacts as well as its opportunities for the structural change of the Lusatian region.
