Are you working on, or know someone who is, developing an innovative and effective energy transition initiative? If so, it's your time to shine: this year, you can either apply for an award or nominate your favourite activities, projects and actions.
EU Sustainable Energy Awards recognise cutting-edge innovation in renewables and energy efficiency, and the Awards are stepping up to the challenge by evolving too. Young energy leaders now have their own category, joining last year’s consumer, public sector and business categories. Projects in this category aim to recognise extraordinary young individuals, or groups of individuals (under 30 years old), who are leading by example and impacting the sustainable energy field.
Projects in all four categories should be outstanding, innovative with original features, and have a measurable impact in helping reduce energy use or work with renewable energy in a way that will contribute to the EU’s climate and energy goals.
Each of the four categories has its own award and all of the final projects are eligible for the Citizens' Award – the fifth award chosen by online public vote.
Lead the energy transition. You or your nominee could win an EU Sustainable Energy Award at the EU’s Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)!
The deadline for applications is 23 February 2018.
