The 14th edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is just around the corner and you can play your part. By organising an Energy Day, you can bring sustainable energy closer to your community, empowering citizens and local stakeholders to embrace the change towards a greener future.
Where will you shape Europe’s energy future? Organise an Energy Day near you, from wherever you are in the EU. Energy Days are a way to engage people in sustainable activities and involve communities and local authorities from across the EU in the energy debate.
How can you set up your Energy Day? The format is up to you. Anything can be an Energy Day, from organising a picnic, a visit to a clean energy power plant, or hosting a conference, to helping children learn about the best ways to save energy, and organising an open house day for an energy project in your municipality. Get inspired by past Energy Days and come up with an event that will speak to your community.
An Energy Day can be organised anytime between May and June 2019 in any EU country, and can have any duration.
If you are already organising an event, you can register it as an Energy Day and take advantage of the promotional material and activities organised by EUSEW.
