Gaëtan BONHOMME

Gaëtan Bonhomme was the co-founder and CTO of Kurion, a US environmental management startup founded in 2008, focused on nuclear waste treatment solutions. Through Gaëtan’s leadership, Kurion was able to successfully deploy its technology in the aftermath of the 2011 Fukushima crisis; and the company was ultimately acquired by Veolia in 2016.

Prior to Kurion, Gaëtan worked in technology development and industrial innovation at Saint-Gobain in the US and in France. Gaëtan holds several graduate degrees, including a PhD in Materials Science working on the industrial applications of quasicrystals and an MBA from MIT Sloan where he was part of the first Entrepreneurship & Innovation cohort.
