Mark Hull

Mark has been supporting community-focused energy programmes over two decades. At Community Energy Scotland, he's delivered hundreds of energy developments in domestic, community and commercial settings – including generation, demand reduction, and smart storage/management linked to infrastructure and grid services. As Head of Innovation, he leads on projects pushing boundaries of how communities own, get value from and interact with their local energy systems and infrastructure. Including: H2020 projects –SMILE and BIGHIT; Scottish LECF Surf'n'Turf, ACCESS, OHLEH and Heat Smart Orkney projects; PITCHES transferring learning from Scottish Communities to other areas, including Sub-Saharan Africa; and ReFLEX, a major new UKRI flexibility project in Orkney.
