Martine Graafland

Martine graduated in 1997 from the University of Leiden in Biology and Environmental Sciences. After her graduation she started working at Rijkswaterstaat as an ecological specialist. Martine has done many different projects at Rijkswaterstaat before she started working on the effects of offshore wind on ecology in 2009. Together with her colleagues, she has set up a research program on the effects of offshore wind farms on ecology, and is now involved in the Wozep-research Program. Martine is currently in the process of translating the results of this ecological research program into regulations in the Wind Farm Site Decision.
