Dr. Miguel A. París holds a Ph. D. degree in Sciences (Material Science), 1997, by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a B.Sc. degree in Physics, 1993, by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
He is a Senior R&D and Innovation Manager with a broad research experience (over 20 years) at the private and academic sectors. Along his professional career, he has worked for multinational companies suppliers of electronic components (PHILIPS) and civil infrastructures (ACCIONA), as well as for public research institutions (CSIC).
Since 2008 he has been working for ACCIONA Construction and, currently, he is Head of the PMO & Sustainable Building Area of the Technology & Innovation Division. At this position, amongst many others, his main responsibility is leading and guiding ACCIONA’s R&D lines in the field of Sustainable Buildings.
As result of his research activities, he has participated in over 20 national and international R&D collaborative projects, is author of 18 publications in peer-reviewed scientific international journals, co-author of 1 national patent and co-director of 1 Ph.D. thesis.
On top of that, he has also successfully completed a Master in Production and Quality Management (IDE-CESEM) and an Executive MBA (Escuela de Organización Industrial)
