Dr Joelle Mastelic has been working as a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland since 2008. Her research is focused on the use of Living Lab methods in the field of Energy Management. In 2014, she founded the Energy Living Lab, which proposes applied research projects and consulting services based on social marketing and open innovation.

She is a member of the ENoLL council, evaluator of international projects in the Living Labs field, expert for the international advisory board of the UAS Laurea in Helsinki. A graduate in Management from the University of Lausanne, Visiting Research Fellow at University of Barcelona, Joelle holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences.
