Maria Jeliazkova

Maria Jeliazkova is an experienced researcher, engaged in review, analysis and recommendations in the fields of anti-poverty strategies, social inclusion and integration. She has taken part in plenty of national and EU researches and projects in the fields and works extensively in social impact assessments of public policies.

Maria is associate professor in sociology, teaches social policy at Sofia University and has more than 70 publications in the fields. She is a member of EAPN executive committee and a member of the National Consultative Committee for Social Inclusion at the Council of Ministers in Bulgaria. Currently she is engaged as policy expert and leads Policy orientation package of the EU project “ASSIST (2gether4vulnerability),addressing the topic of energy poverty.
