Isabel François

Isabel François is project manager at WaterstofNet, the Flemish-Dutch organisation that has been developing pilot projects on hydrogen since 2009, together with industrial partners and authorities.

Before joining WaterstofNet in 2016, Isabel was working at Philips Lighting in Eindhoven (NL) and Turnhout (BE) in development of gas discharge lamps during twenty years.

Isabel obtained a PhD in Physics at the Catholic University Of Leuven, Belgium, in 1996, in the field of Superconductivity.

At WaterstofNet, her specific responsibility is the coordination of the Hydrogen Industry Cluster, which is a collaboration platform for companies that are active in in the hydrogen value chain, from renewable energy production to hydrogen technology and applications.
