In February 2019, Pedro Verdelho was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Energy Regulatory Authority (ERSE - Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos).
Prior to this appointment, from 1999 until January 2019, he served as the Director of ERSE’s Pricing and Tariffs Division.
He is deeply involved in the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) and the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), serving as Chair of their Gas Working Groups since 2019.
He is also involved in the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG), as co-chair of the MEDREG Renewables Working Group.
He holds a PhD, Master’s and Undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico.
