TOGETHER for energy efficiency: An integrated approach to energy saving in public buildings - Association of Municipalities Polish Network Energie Cities
The stand promotes integrated approach to energy saving in public buildings, presenting experiences and tools developed within the 3 innovative projects: CE TOGETHER, encouraging implementation of analytical and behavioural DSM measures to make use of the full energy-saving potential of a building, and its predecessors – the Green Schools project, where living labs were established to encourage energy-saving ideas and EURONET 50/50 MAX, where users were engaged in energy management processes. Together with the participants the organisers will discuss holistic vision of a building, according to which a building should not be considered only as a structure but also as a set of functions, processes and people using it. All these elements need to be taken into consideration when striving for energy savings. Based on the projects' experience the organisers will show the participants how to integrate different solutions (technical, financial, analytical and behavioural) and different people (building owner, manager and key groups of users) for a common goal of improving buildings' energy efficiency and users' comfort. They will be also familiarised and gain access to a set of innovative tools, including Energy Performance Integrated Contract, Social Audit, Serious Games, Building Alliance and many other (see: http://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/TOGETHER/Integrated-tools.html).
